The Creatrix® is an entrepreneurial self-assessment tool. It helps individuals and organisations to measure their creative and risk-taking capabilities. In doing so, they can develop an honest profile of their strengths, weaknessess and potentials.

Knowing the creative and risk-taking capability of individuals in organisations helps us to better understand, for example:

	-	why one organisation stagnates and another takes excessive risk and lands in bankruptcy, and another is moderately to extremely successful
	-	why new staff members tend to be greater risk takers than those who have been in the organisation for more years
	-	why the members of business development units of organisations are usually risk-takers
	-	why an individual’s creativity decreases in the first year of joining an organisation

Please note the following:

In filling the questionnaire, read each question carefully before scoring yourself. You are advised to be honest with your responses because an accurate assessment of yourself is important.

There are no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ answers, so avoid answering in terms of how you think a person should respond.

Don’t be ‘rational’. Just be true to yourself.

After filling the questionnaire, an analysis of your capability orientation will be generated. You may then save or print out your analysis. The analysis report contains the following (and more):

	-	A capability orientation profile that shows where an individual falls on the Creatrix Matrix
	-	A chart & table that shows the performance of the individual on the 7 Drivers of Creativity and Risk-Taking map
	-	An analysis of the strengths and opportunities for improvement on each of the 7 Drivers and their implications for the individual
	-	Ideas and practices to empower the individual to change

		Combined report Alder can also provide customised organisational reports and profiles based on an aggregate of the individual reports of team members.
