The Commercial Brands survey provides definitive information about consumer brands in Nigeria. The Survey polls the opinion of brand trustees, stewards and experts to determine the top commercial brands in Nigeria. These stewards and experts were constituted into a panel known as the Brand Synod. Details of Synod members are
highlighted on page 7 of the Report.
Consumers were also asked to vote for the Brand of the Year.
The major commercial brands in Nigeria were placed into 52 categories from a list of over 1000 brands. The Brand Synod selected the top two brands in each industry category.
